people take a lot of expensive gear to the F1, people to go to silverstone to nick a camera plenty of places to try, pits straight, club grandstand, arena grandstand, abbey grandstand, old pits straight.

I bought a tc from them, they were ok, needed a reminder to send the item but otherwise fine

contracts mean nothing in F1, all Bernie wants is money.. just look at the Donnington debacle a couple of years ago. that said, I won't sign (yet) because I think F1 financing has a need to reform and refocus on the paying public, this will only happen with a financial collapse...

there's loads of good seating, personally I would recommend the new pits straight near club. On Saturday go around the other side of club, there is a section with lower fencing looking into the exit of the vale.

Blacklab is your 500mm camouflaged? I was there on Saturday and felt most inadequate sat next to that lens especially as I had my new 400mm which I thought was going to be the muts nuts. Actually, I am very happy with my shots from the main grandstand. Have you posted your pictures anywhere?

It's easy to get great photos at silverstone now. They've moved the grandstands back and the fence on the old pit straight and probably the new one. I used a 70 to 300 and was really happy with a lot of the results, I am going to take a 400mm this year but expect to use the 70 to 300 more...

sorry, but they see a blurry cctv image and identify you, how do they know you, do they know where you live? Were you identified via the plates on the wrong car Seems a bit strange to me, you must know where you were at 5:30 or whenever
