i wonder if anyone can help, I am going to be setting up a project of doing some dog portraits. I need some lighting equipment to do this? ( i will probably take the equipment to peoples houses) What is everyone using? i want something that is going to last and give a good outcome but...

i'm off to do a bit of traveling around south east asia and taken my digital slr but also i am thinking of taking my old cannon av1 which takes 35mm my favorite photographers are william eggleston, martin parr and stephen shore, and looking to capture some colour photographs inspired by them...
