    Have you calibrated your monitor? Without doing that all the profiles in the world won't help get accurate colours between monitor and print. If you're printing yourself then Adobe RGB is best if your printer supports it, for lab prints use whatever they say - usually sRGB. One word of caution...

    Qualifications

    These qualifications are of no use whatsoever when it comes to getting work, but as far as personal goals go they have their place. Of the various associations only the RPS and BIPP seem to have much integrity when it comes to qualifications, the rest are really only out to take your money IMO.
