About 400? I'm not really keen on carrying the 18-135 because I'll be on the go, and wouldn't want to carry too bulky items. The 50mm would have been a good choice but the crop sensor on the 600D makes the view really zoomed, i was hoping the 40mm would have been a better choice

It's a 18-135mm lens, a bit too bulky to be carried around. Would a wide angle converter on the 50mm lens work? Do you recommend other lenses? Or ways to make the 50mm less zoomed?
