Something like that'll be fine to start then eventually as you get better you can progress to the sharper, more expensive f/4 or f/2.8 lenses. Peredur

I'll try and get some up today, only had it for about a week (hasn't been to the stages yet), I'll try to get some good examples of the sharpness.

I have just bought the siggy and it's as sharp as you want. Also, I've heard the Tamron's AF is slow(er) thus would be rather useless for rallying (wild guess that that's what you want to do with it).

Got the lens yesterday by fedex, no invoice thus far. Teleconverter today with the postie, no tax to pay thus far. Happy Bunny (thus far)

Mine hasn't been stopped by customs, from what I can picture of the pieces it's FedEx that have stopped it. Strange Much.

I ordered a lens off them and it's been pulled by customs/FedEx as they're not too keen on the value of the lens. Been emailing onestop and FedEx for 2,3,4 days now, making some progress now. You have been warned

Just ordered a Siggy 70-200 f2.8. Might get a f2.8 kit lens replacement, a grip maybe or even a body?

I've got a Siggy EF-530 Super, good gun, but it's about £170 roughly

Anyone got any views on the minolta 35-105? Quite fancy it as a kit lens replacement, how much beter than the kit lens (18-70) is it? Thanks
