    Beginner Why is it?.......Woodland photography

Happens a lot to me where you see a spot in the woods from a distance that has potential, by the time I get to that location then it just doesn't work anymore. I tend to prefer light & shadows and if there is any mist then even better [emoji4]

    Beginner Wide-Angle Lens for Nikon?

A friend of mine bought a Sigma 10-20 and he lent it to me to try out, I was very impressed with the results and bought one myself the following week. Had it for a couple of years until I sold it as I'd bought a full frame camera and replaced it with the Nikon 16-35. I'd personally recommend it

    Lee 105mm cir pol protection?

I also found it tricky to attach the polariser to the accessory ring in the field, only takes a slight misjudgement to lose an expensive piece of glass. Passport pictures

Has anyone ever been discouraged from bringing a camera on trips?

I would also take my camera when I go abroad, Nikon D750, usually with my 24-70mm & 70-200 and flash, filters etc. All goes in hand luggage with the exception of my tripod which I tend to find room in my suitcase for. Not worried too much about theft as like previous posters have said that's...

Polar bear entangled in fishing net!

Totally agree, instead of the proposed sugar tax, make it a deposit added to the price instead to which would increase recycling with people returning to get their deposit back. In addition it will create a new enterprise for youngsters as it did for me in my childhood looking for bottles to...

    The Capture vs The Processing

I enjoy the actual capture of the image the most and always try to get it right ‘in camera’ but some post processing is essential. Went through a steep learning curve myself for post and after settling on my workflow and getting the over processing out of my system, I’m more comfortable now...

    Cotswold Cameras

They are grey and although I haven't used them myself a couple of friends have and they were very happy with their purchases.
