Happens a lot to me where you see a spot in the woods from a distance that has potential, by the time I get to that location then it just doesn't work anymore.
I tend to prefer light & shadows and if there is any mist then even better [emoji4]
A friend of mine bought a Sigma 10-20 and he lent it to me to try out, I was very impressed with the results and bought one myself the following week.

I also found it tricky to attach the polariser to the accessory ring in the field, only takes a slight misjudgement to lose an expensive piece of glass.
To that end mine is attached to a foundation kit permanently.

I enjoy the actual capture of the image the most and always try to get it right ‘in camera’ but some post processing is essential.
Went through a steep learning curve myself for post and after settling on my workflow and getting the over processing out of my system, I’m more comfortable now...
