    ISO rant

An ISO readout on the viewfinder/LCD would be very useful. I end up shooting in 800/1600 quite often because I forget to change it after shooting in low light. Its incredibly frustrating at times.

    Beginner - Canon 350d or 400d?

If possible I would go for the 400D for the screen. It's the only real advantage of the 400D over the 350D as far as I am concerned, but it does make a big difference having a larger screen.

Tutorial Sensor Cleaning - My Copperhill Style cleaning

They make one specially designed for cleaning sensors. It even says on their website "LENSPEN SensorKlear is simple to use, convenient and proven safe and effective for digital camera sensors." It has always worked for me, but have other people have had problems? If so I might start to use...

Tutorial Sensor Cleaning - My Copperhill Style cleaning

I've always found a LensPen SensorKlear to work well. Just use a rocket blower and then the SensorKlear, no preparation necessary, just take off the lid and its ready to go. http://www.lenspen.com/?cPath=1&products_id=SK-1&tpid=146

Anyone Know a parking spot in London

Network Away Break from Canterbury to London is around £20-£30 on www.thetrainline.com. Driving will cost more in terms of parking and petrol and takes longer (I live in Canterbury and go to uni in London). If you do want to drive there are car parks all around the ring road (Angel, Pentonville...

How do i setup my lightbox ??

I guess its a bit different on a white backdrop, but I've just spent 2 weeks photographing architectural models on black backgrounds. Its mostly just a case of getting the object as far away as possible from the background, and ensuring that your depth of field is shallow enough that any...

does anyone have camera insurance ?

Mine is insured by E&L, doesn't cost too much, and covers the equipment in theory wherever you take it. However I also ride mountain bikes, and I've heard from people that have insured their bikes that sometimes the money is pretty hard to get out of them, so maybe not such a good idea. I'm...

    350D Lens Upgrades

Ok, looks like it's probably best to go for slightly better quality. I've seen a review ( http://www.pbase.com/miljenko/1850vs1770 ). That compares the Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4.5 pretty favourably with the more expensive 18-50mm f2.8 EX. Seems like it might be a pretty good option if it really is...

    350D Lens Upgrades

I use a Canon 350D, and currently have the kit lens (EF-S 18-55mm) and the EF 55-200mm USM. I was wondering if it would be worth selling both and getting the Tamron 18-250mm to replace them. I guess the upgrade would cost about £100-£150, depending on what I could get for my old lenses. Is...
