Can anyone recommend a decent one to go for? My C: drive is moaning at me... This is to sit at home and does not need to be portable - 8GB and upwards id say. Any one brand known for superior reliability? I don't need lighting speed just somewhere safe to hold files really.

For me no not really, But i do love the fact I always have my phone. as someone who likes to crop right in and pixel peep I notice odd shapes and patterns, AI stuff I guess! for birds and planes though I cant see a phone ever replacing a proper camera system.

Im pretty lucky, my wife has the same photography interests and is more than happy (for now) to use my older camera since a recent upgrade (have offered her a new one too mind!), so win win.
