Always a touchy subject (pun intended) but basicly if its for me I will do what ever I want, if for a client I never remove birth marks or scars unless specificly asked. As to anything else I discuss it with them tactfully and also point out that any spots/acne they feel stops them from having...
Well I would not bank on camera manafactures supporting there own file formats forever, as some have already dropped by the wayside. I belive even Canon stopped supporingt the D30 in DPP (or at least they did not used to) and that is only a eight year old raw format!
And as to Adobe going...
Bob take up Ali's offer, you really will not take better pics with a compact, and the 400D is a good camera.
The majority of my image taken these days are of the grandkids in the garden.
Its about the quality of light at the end of the day and a compact aint going to change that. You have...
The Nikon Coolscan V is a very good scanner, mine cost £450 new three years ago but Nikon no longer make them. Been thinking of selling mine as I have digitized all my film and no longer use it.
Been scanning my film as linear Raw DNG files so it saves space and Adobe lightroom can process them just like normal DSLR raw file. And I came across this one which I thought may be worth posting.
Taken with a Canon 300x on Kodak Supra 400

My question is why were you using ISO 1600 on a bright sunny day?
Hows this?
Make a soft edged selection of the shadow part of the face ( I used quick mask and a soft edged brush)
Now apply a levels adjustment layer like so. Hope that helps.:)
If like the last time this thread came up you will get a lot of less than usefull information like get lightroom or do it in this program , I have lightroom but I'm not going to tell you get it, so heres how to do it with what you have;)
This is for CS3 but should be the same for CS4
Open...
In that case then why not convert your raws to Adobe's DNG raw format, I'd bet good money it will still be going long after quite a few other raw formats are unreadable. ;)
Its a lot easier in Lightroom but yes you can do it in CS4.
This is for CS3 but should be the same...
Open up the folder of raw images in Bridge and copy and paste your preset settings from one image to all the image thumbnails.
Now open CS4 and go to File > Scripts > Image Processer...
