    Just getting to know my Nikon D60

    I use a D60 as well and i think it is a really nice camera (although my exposure to more equiped cameras is limited). I think as a beginner you are better off learning on the more 'basic' models and look at possibly getting a wider arreay of lens, such as wide angle, macro, or what ever suits...

    Took the mobile in for repair as it is under warrenty, was with them for three weeks and they have come back to me and said it is water damage and they will do nothing for me...Wasn't water been no where near water, but TS seem to think i have a shot, so i will see what happens!:thumbsdown:

    I think this is the problem, people do not just relate it to the one store/person, it can effect the whole image of the franchise. The smart A** should of being more helpful towards you, i always say you never know if you don't ask. If i was you i would try again and see what results you get...

    Which 35mm prime lens do you recommend for a D200?

    Just bought the Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX today and will be picking it up tomorrow so will let you know what i think when i have had a chance to fire off a few frames! Didn't get the lens in the end...Hope you enjoy yours!
