Can anyone suggest a backpack for me please?

I have found the link to the bag dims:- http://www.devoncamera.co.uk/uploadedfiles/CMS/File/Lowepro_Bag_Dimensions_March_2007.pdf I thought you meant the 'Rover Plus AW' before, that b****r is huge. I discounted the 'Rover AW2' because from the reviews I read, ( and the dims on the link )...

Can anyone suggest a backpack for me please?

I've had mine about a month or so now, the best price I got was form my local camera shop - they ordered it in for me and was £129 I sent my cashback off straight away, but have had nothing back yet.

Can anyone suggest a backpack for me please?

Here you go buddy, I took some pics last night. 1 - Compurover in comparison with a 'normal' small Berghaus pack. 2 - Inside the top compartment with my hand for scale. It's actually more spacious inside than it looks on the photo. 3 - The Camera compartment has a camera area...

Can anyone suggest a backpack for me please?

Hi, I went for the compurover in the end. The Rover AW2 was just too big according to the specs sheet I found. I dont know where the extra size goes, as the internal area is almost the same on the Compurover - yet the Compurover will fit as carry on, I have measured it and checked against our...

    Tamron 28-300 vs new 18-250?

Thanks for that - some cracking photos on your website by the way. I went for a Sigma 70-300 APO and the Tamorn 18-250 in the end. I have not had chance to play with either of them yet, but we are off on our travels from the UK, across the USA & Peru, NZ then Australia so I should have plenty...

    Camera bag/Day sack

I have recently been in the exact same quandary and considered the Tamrac Adventure 9, Lowepro Rover AW, Lowepro Rover Plus AW and the Lowepro Compurover AW. We are going travelling for 8 weeks, I need the bag for carry on the aeroplane for camera stuff and a jumper & book plus travel documents...

    gorrilla pods

I have an SLR zoom version. It's fine for what I want. The SLR zoom has no quick release top like the SLR and the mini one, so you'll need a quick release mount otherwise it's too cumbersome. I bought a cullman quick shoe off ebay for about a fiver. It's great, if I want a quick steady shot just...

Sigma 70-300mm Lens F4-5.6 APO DG MACRO

They did seem very profesional. I have just ordered another lens from them last night. A Tamron 18-250, cheapest UK stockist I could find was £329.99 plus delivery. Onestop are doing it for £265.99 including delivery. I' wonder if it will come as quickly as the last one.

Sigma 70-300mm Lens F4-5.6 APO DG MACRO

No import duty as yet. There is a duty sticker on the box that onestop put on, it states that the item is a 'Lens' and is 'Gift' at a value of 33 euros. They have a policy of refunding you any duty that you may end up paying. There are a few threads on various forums about them, people have...

Sigma 70-300mm Lens F4-5.6 APO DG MACRO

It has just this minute arrived. All seems well. It's well packaged. I'll have a proper look tonight when I get it home and on the camera. So far, very pleased with service from onestop-digital. I think I'll order my new Tamron 18-50 later on. They are doing it for £265.99 including Fed Ex...

Can anyone suggest a backpack for me please?

I went to my local camera store on Saturday, but they didnt have any of the Lowepro bags in to try. I wasnt impressed with the Tamrac packs as they didnt have very much room in the bag part. Going by the Lowepro website, I think the Compurover may be the way to go for me.

Sigma 70-300mm Lens F4-5.6 APO DG MACRO

I used to have the non APO one and traded it a couple of years ago for a Tamron 28-300, ( now currently for sale if anyone is interested ). I thought it was a great lens for what I wanted, and I did some nice macro stuff on it as it gives 1:2 macro. Anyway, I have just ordered a new Sigma...

Can anyone suggest a backpack for me please?

Hello all, I am after suggestions for a new kit bag for an upcoming trip. It needs to be a backpack type, light and sturdy enough to walk with for 8 hours a day. Ideally, the camera part of it needs to be quite small, as I wont be carrying much kit, but will be taking lots of other things...

Help with kit choice for upcoming trip please.

Well, I just ordered a Sigma 70-300 APO lens from www.onestop-digital.com for the bargain price of £109.99 delivered. Just got to decide whether it's worth trading my Tamron 28-300 for the new Tamron 18-250 now.
