    Electricity provider 'slamming' your account?

Hey Folks, As someone who works for one of the big six, I can confirm this seems to go on all the time. You have two options here, the first is to contact the supplier that you wanted to stay with and ask them to raise an erroneous transfer. This should mean your supply will be moved back to...

    Canon 300mm 2.8 mk2 or Canon 400mm 2.8 mk1

Hey Folks, Just looking for a little advise. I’m looking for a telephoto lens to get back into wildlife photography and I’m torn between these two. The only thing that puts me off the 400mm is Canon no longer repair it. Just wondering what I should do. Thanks Chris

Firstly thank you all so much for you help. I would also like to offer my apologies for not replying sooner, I work nightshift so the only opportunity I have to reply is after I wake up in the afternoons. I like that change of perspective, i'd never considered that. I guess after looking at...

Firstly thank you to everyone who has offered to help me. I have rescanned to photo into 3 different versions, 600dpi, 120dpi and 2400dpi and saved them as a TIF file. I am in the process of uploading them to Dropbox and you can access the files from this dropbox link...

    Photo Restoration

I was wondering if someone could help me with a little problem. My wife has managed to get some of her contact lens solution between a photo and the glass in an old photo frame. I only noticed it when I was planning on swapping the frames. I’ve managed to separate the glass and photo from...

    New imac

Thanks for the link Les, looks like my next big buy will be upgrading the RAM. I know it's a little off topic, but can anyone recommend a company that can replace the Pram battery and Clean and reapply the heat sink paste on a MacBook Pro 1,1 (2006) model?

    New imac

I placed an order last week through work for the new IMac 27'' 5k. Over the past week I've been in two minds if id made the right choice. By the sounds of it I have made the correct decision. The only downside to ordering through work is I don't get the choice to customise the machine. Can I...

    RSPCA young photographer

If I was the parent of a child who was into serious photography. I wouldn't have a problem with him/her wanting expensive equipment to improve the quality of their photos. It's no different than a parent spending £££ on private coaches hoping their son or daughter will be the next sporting...

    Canon 16-35mm F2.8 or Canon 24mm F1.4 I or II

Thanks for your reply Gary, I have a 5d and a 7d. I'm really only buying it for low light and nightscapes, I just recently sold my 17-40 in favour of the 16-35mm upgrade. My thinking was that it gives me an extra stop of light when using ND Grads is it will allow me to be a little more...

    Canon 16-35mm F2.8 or Canon 24mm F1.4 I or II

Looking to move away from wildlife into landscapes and I was wondering which of the above 3 lenses i sould consider buying. I like the thought of the 24mm for lowlight shots but I also like the zoom range of the 16-35mm. Does anyone have any thoughts?

    buying on forum

unless something has changed recently you should be able to send payments without needing to pay paypal any fees. If you select send to family/friends, and as I consider everyone I buy anything from as a friend then I don't have any issues with them being short changed.
