    Actually the UK General Public were the biggest beneficiaries because if the Banking System hadn't been bailed out it would have crashed and then you would have seen chaos. Maybe you should stop reading the Guardian.

    I would be very wary of buying a Tesla , my next door neighbour had a shunt in his before Xmas and its been waiting for parts, the ETA of the parts is April !!!!!! He is not remotely impressed that his £90k car is not easily repairable particularly as it wasn't even a big shunt! I wouldn't bet...

    Running an iMac off an external SSD

    I converted my 2011 Imac 27 to SSD and maxed out the ram and it made it a new machine. I too didn't fancy doing the job myself but a local company did it for me for approx. £100. Its much better than booting off external drives as an SSD will not run at the same speed via usb than it will via SATA.

    Whats reading back through the thread got to do you with your ridiculous post about Diesels being clunky, dirty and smelly?. My point was you obviously haven't owned a decent one if you couldn't even bare to put diesel in it .

    Incorrect! They have to hold a certain percentage of cash previously known as the reserve asset ratio, now known as the leverage ratio which currently runs at about 5% though in reality it is c 3%
