Slider - like these (just not as technical) - http://rhinocameragear.com/store/camera-sliders/rhino-slider-pro-2ft - I got two carbon fibre tubes, but need to work out best way to fix them together and then where to put connectors so i can attach them to a tripod or two (one each end)
Im a D90 user and love the camera though now have aa d700, i would never sell the D90 as it is a good back up if ever needed and i also have the tamron 17-50 always been happy with the results from it
in the process of making some bit for my camera
Slider - got some bit but havent worked out the exact design of gettingit put together.
Macro light - bought 2 Audi "angel eye" style LED lights that are big enough to fit round the lens £1.50 for lights + battery pack.
Hae any one else tried...
Im more inclined to go for a shorter zoom as i already have th 70 - 200 range covered
So something like the tamron 28-75, Nikon 24-70 (bit out of my price range atm)
Just got myself a second hand D700 - was a DX user for ages (D70s, D90 and D7100) but wanted to go FX for a while now. So looking forward to having a proper play with it.
Any suggestions on a good walkabout lens for it?
I have a 90mm macro, 50mm 1.4 70-200 and a 10 - 20mm.
My current walkabout...
