I wasn't going to bother, i thought that might be the case. Ive actually seen one advertised as a 'Toy camera' lens. Why would anybody want to do that? :thinking::shrug:

Ive seen a lot of cctv lenses adapted to fit DSLRs. Whats the reasons for this please? Is it just a cheap option for a close up lens?

Please bear with me, being unexperienced with slr photography. im awaiting delivery of a Lumix DMC G2 which im quite excited about, having only used compacts before. Its coming with the standard 14-42 lens which ive also ordered a lens hood, UV and CPL filter for. Also picked up a new Hama 62...

I live in Spain and I can honestly say that I think my camera and other valuables are safer here than in the UK. I dont understand your concerns. Just avoid the dodgy Brits and youll be fine. ;)

Thanks for the welcome and reply. I have ordered a lens hood, uv filter and polarising filter. Thought it would make sense to protect the lens. Realy looking forward to receiving it and having a play. :)
