I’m looking for a digital interval timer for my Z5ii. Preferably digital, so I can set a certain timer for the shutter speed (if this is possible)? There’s a few that say they are compatible but then have the DC2 plug. Any suggestions that don’t break the bank? Thanks.

Thanks for your replies. Just a little confused which LR I’m using- I think it’s Lightroom Cloud, as it’s on my Mac and it uploads to their online storage. On that basis, so do I look for Lightroom Classic or CC for a book. TIA

Hi. I’m looking for suggestions for a book to learn to use Lighroom from scratch, rather than rely on the presets. I know there’s videos on YT etc but I’d like something to read at my own pace and go through in front of my Mac. Many thanks.

Probably a silly question and I think I know the answer but anyway. Where it states it’s f2.8- I’m assuming it’s not a fixed aperture lens and that it can go to f2.8 at both lengths? Thanks.

Hi. Been away so just seen the replies. Yep, I’m relatively new to this-had a dabble a few years ago and am now coming back to it.. I was shooting in Aperture mode on my 18-105 1:3.5~5.6 Nikon lens. I’ve no idea why the ISO was so high, but in the menu settings it was set to 12800, or whatever...

Thanks Richard, I am familiar but not very good at the implementation of it! I was shooting in A priority and thought that it was a fair setting. Obviously not. Better luck next time I suppose.

I understand that- I just used this picture as a random example. I actually cropped it to this size because the flower background didn’t go that high and the dark wooden panelling showed behind it. Steep learning curve!

Was asked to take some photos of a baby shower that was inside quite a dark room. I’m not happy with them as they look grainy- I’m guessing it’s because the ISO was quite high as it was inside. Am I correct in saying this, and what could I have done to improve it. Thanks. Here’s a sample...

I went for both packages for a tenner - and have used both so far so it’s been a worthwhile purchase.

I went for both in the end. Had some fun with the healing brush - once you start looking/editing your pictures you realise what extras there are in your picture that distract from the main image. It'll make me think more about the photo next time....

I understand what each subscription offers, I think the question I'm asking my self is do I need PS? I've never used PS - so don't know if it would be useful. I suppose I could trial it like I did LR :LOL:.....

You can buy just a LR package, it comes with 1TB storage or PS & LR with 20GB storage for same price...
