Thanks. It's probably my favourite as well.
Cheers
We used the icelandic aurora prediction site but found that it sometimes changes it's mind at the last minute
I'm in iceland at the moment and I haven't had any problems with a canon 5dII despite it being -24 in myvatn yesterday.
For aurora shots, I've been using 800 up to 1600 ISO and adjusting exposure time accordingly between 5 and 30 seconds.
Edit - just seen that it's an old thread
A Billingham hadley pro, a small crumpler, a large lowepro rucksack, and I mostly use a small old canvas bag that I got free when i bought a camera last year.
A couple from my first roll of Lomo purple film.
It's basically trying to fake the look of colour infrared film by shifting the greens towards purple / pink.
Both taken on a Hasselblad 501cm

I haven't done the Llanberis path but I believe it's the easiest and straightest path but not the best for scenery. I think the train goes up that way.
I've done the pyg and miners paths and they go past the lakes on the way up so the scenery is superb and it changes as you go up. The difficulty...
Just got a roll of portra 160 back from Peak Imaging, who I hadn't used before.
All taken with the Hasselblad 501cm and 80mm lens.
There's 6 or 7 on the roll that I really like which is by far my highest keeper rate so far.
