ah yes i think i am slightly confused as to what tungsten film actually means - I take it you can get the blue effect by using film that is designed to be used under tungsten lights in natural light, hence getting some blue distortion. Is that right? Thanks for the info.

Hey there film lovers, Had a question about what sort of MF film to get. I love the tungsten type films where you get those beautiful deep blue colours. Anyone know what best type of film is for those? Preferably a reasonably quick one.. Chars!

I think lomography is based around the idea that you shouldn't really think too much about taking photos and just snap snap away at all sorts of things at crazy angles using funny looking cameras that are cheaply made. The Holga is a perfect example, but my advice is don't bother buying one of...

probably best to stick with TTL i think, for ease of use..i can hire a decent flash for not much.

Is the CL1 comparable to the nikon SB series ones? The metz is quite cheap on ebay and looks quite impressive, i take it it is fully compatibly with a d80?

I had a couple of instances where people shouted at me after taking photos of them but I tried to pretend i was taking shots of the building behind them or something...I was trying to get that perfect candid shot but was unsuccesful!

Thanks a lot for the compliments guys! That one was lucky as there was an incredibly eerie mist covering the beach when the sun was low, hence the misty mood. Anyway goes to show that those old film cameras can still pack a punch.
