I picked up a used one for my A7r3 about six months ago I never really got on with the Small rig it just didn't feel right in my hands, the RRS is just about perfect for me excellent fit and finish, the base is now a permanent fixture on the camera the upright bit is fitted as and when needed.
I used RC2 for a long time because I had Manfrotto tripods, I changed to ARCA Swiss type when I got my first camera specific L bracket was able to change the clamps on all the heads I had without any problems , now I much prefer the system.
I have as much loyalty to camera manufactures as they have to me, I'm an old git first camera in 1957, in that time I have had cameras from most of them, if they made what I wanted/needed I would buy and they would take my money in exchange, my most recent change of system was from Nikon to Sony...
I don't usually use filters much but I do have one permanently fitted too my macro lens for protection because you get the front element so close to things it would be all too easy to scratch it.
Start kicking Dave, just had confirmation today that my cash back has been approved should receive it within 28 days, and also received a refund from Amazon for £50 an administration error they called it, means I get a nice new A6500 for £549.
How are you getting on with these new plastic notes, they remind me of the old Izal shiny bog rolls spread it around rather than wipe it off.:hungover:
This has happened to me too, I recently sold a pair of IS Canon binoculars to a guy in Italy via the global shipping program and got more than I paid for them three years ago.
In the past I have always opted for UK sales only but if this is a typical result I will happily do it again.
This thread peaked my interest as it is a lens I have been thinking about buying so I've checked it out and it does have a 95mm filter thread and Lee do an adapter to fit but only for the 150mm filter system, which I think would be better and cheaper than the type that clamp around the outside...
I stopped using it for a while, but couldn't get on with any of the alternatives I tried, so I went back to it ,
I'm sorry I can't help you with other software.
