Indeed, I believe it was part of the planning permission that it needed to include a public garden.

You need to book a time slot but there is no cost, unless things have changed recently.

I'll nominate the obvious one, Skygarden at the top of the Walkie Talkie.

The Photography Show - is it worth it?

I get it, up to a point, but most stands had multiple cameras with various lenses already attached, it looked more like most people just had cameras over their shoulders as fashion accessories. I also saw a couple of Instagram 'models', people were crowded around them taking photos, which I...

The Photography Show - is it worth it?

Went today, not bad, but not as big as in previous years, a couple of observations though... First, there was clearly fewer stands than in previous years with plenty of unused space around the edge of the hall, why not spread things out a bit more to there is more room for people to move...

Any idea what day/time Gary is speaking? Had a brief look through the show guide and couldn't find his name.

Treated myself to the Viltrox 56mm f1.7, for a £150 lens, it's seriously impressive!

    MPB

Until recently, I worked for a courier company and spent a fair bit of time in the sortation centres and depots, yes these places aren't clean, but actual human interaction with the parcels is minimum and they are packed into the vans and lorries so tightly that any rats that do want to p*iss on...

    MPB

If a lens smells that strongly of smoke, I doubt wiping it down will do much. I'd be chasing them for a refund/exchange.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I tried watching him a while ago and thought he was a bit much at times, but I've given him another go and he's growing on me.

Anyone have any experiences with MPB?

Just a heads up, it looks like MPB have started using Evri for standard delivery rather than DPD., given the value of the gear MPB ship, this is a little bit disappointing. Given shipping isn't free, this seems a bit of an own goal. The option to use DPD is still there but only for the more...

Same here, very satisfied with my F, the additon of IBIS would be nice, but for what I use the X100F for, I can live without it. As for the extra megapixels, the file sizes are big enough already!

The 18-55 f2.8 is an absolute gem, calling it a kit lens doesn't do it justice. I've been tempted by the XC 15-45 for it's range and size, I know a lot of people are put off by being a power zoom...

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

My X-H1 arrived this morning, I knew it was going to be big and heavy compared to my X-T20 but I didn't appreciate just how much bigger it would be until I had it in my hand, it's like going back to a DSLR, feels as if it's built like a tank, it's a beast! Looking forward to putting it through...
