Something else that isn't enabled by default on the R5 is sensor cleaning when you switch the camera on/off - I'm sure you were all wondering about that :whistle:
I use the 250 with the Canon 100L macro lens and it works well. I used the DCR-150 before that, which also worked well

Have a look at the Fred Miranda forum, there's a member called RobAmy who uses the R5 with the 400 F2.8 III & 600 F4 III - he has nothing but good things to say about it
Thanks for sharing, I'm glad finally Canon has done the massive leap. Waiting for the prices from E-Infin / Panamoz to appear, hoping for around £3.2k for an R5.
DigitalRev have it price at £3,989.99, so I doubt the other two would be much different
The perch in front of Bittern hide is probably your best bet for a kingfisher at the minute, the reed bed screen is closed off because of bitterns nesting nearby - the perch in front of that is closer. I'm not sure how regularly they are being seen, autumn is usually the best time for them at...
