    Hi chappers thanks for that. I'm hoping to sell prints and mounted prints. Also hoping to print my own as now have an A3 printer.

    Tripod necessary or hindrance

    I have just ordered a gorillapod focus and manfrotto ball head. Hopefully it will help with long hikes but never as good as a full tripod. It's a compromise

    fine art wall print layout?

    Hi Guys I will be printing some of my photos off for wall display. I will like to include a title, is it usual to have a wider border at the bottom of an image for titles and sigs? If so whats the best proportions? it will be A3 landscape and portrait layouts to start with cheers John

    Common mistakes for Beginner landscape photographers

    Always look behind you! I have hiked to locations with a shot in mind but now and again I will stop and look around me to see if I am missing any other opportunities, especially in mountainous locations as lovely vistas are everywhere during your climb up.
