    I would second this recently spent a few days between Holy island and Craster on the Northumberland coast its a awesome bit of Coastline Beautifully clean and plenty to point your camera at.

    The 24-105 f/4 is a great lens and gives you a good range for Landscape i wouldn't be without mine ,I also carry the Canon 17-40 which i do like for a wider option and tend to use it on Seascapes quite a lot .

    North England The scaffolding at Ashess Bridge - local knowledge sought.

    Hi Frank I drove over Ashness bridge this morning (22nd dec) heading to Watendlath and there was no scaffolding to be seen. Good time to be going up there a lot less folk around..Have fun

    Thanks Jim for the info The reviews I have seen put the Sigma f 1.4 ahead of the Canon f1.4 both on build quality and Bokeh .
