Been a while since I've been there. Used to do a lot of sea kayaking around Flamborough Head. Seem to remember a number of pubs in and around Flamborough. Maybe worth trying them for accommodation. A quick search brings up The Viking Inn.

I have this in my hallway and downstairs loo. Been down about 12 years and looks as good as new. Had loo refurbed recently, and the footprint changed, so had to patch areas. Still looks as good as the day it was laid and you wouldn't notice the patching.

Had a corded Dyson for years, which was the best vacuum I had owned. Much more powerful than others I had used. Decided to get a cordless many years ago. Also got a Dyson V8, but got the Absolute model. Best decision I have ever made. Still got the corded Dyson, but it hasn't left the cupboard...

Worked in insurance before retiring 20 years ago. Most of the traditional insurers used to offer "laid up" insurance with the car being covered only for Fire and Theft. Aviva was, before name change, one of those insurers. I would ring them and see if still available.

Just got back. Pleasant drive down a track on a private country estate, lined by marshals with signs giving instructions. Arrived at an open dutch barn which split into three lanes drove in, arm out window, injected and drove out. Altogether a pleasant drive in the countryside.
