there is a setup from which you choose the film type before you scan the film. I thought it would be better if there is an official setting for this. But if there isn't, will just do it as you said. thanks

I am using the Hasselblad Flextight X1 scanner and want to scan the Kodachrome 64 slides. However, the scanner doesn't have the film setting. Is there any way that I can download the setting or maybe customize one suits Kodachrome 64? Thanks

I think you could use Lightroom. When you export the picture in LR, it allows you to achieve the thing you want.

Star filter will do. if you don't want to buy one, try to use a very small F number as Garry said. I usually use F16
