I have also just upgraded from 40d to a 6d , couldn't make my mind up between 6d and 5d mmiii, glad i went with the 6D, its a fantastic camera. Probably not quite as sturdy as the 5D MKIII but its still very well made. I have a friend who is a pro wedding photographer who has purchased 2 6d's...
