Good evening folks, just wondered if anyone has had this issue with a Canon R7...
A friends camera (said R7) won't turn on with its usual battery (LP-E6NH) we have tried another (LP-E6N) from her R6 and also one of my Hahnel LP-E6 batteries and now not only will her R7 not turn on but the other...
Ben I've got one of the new LEE holders you can come have a look at if you like, I've got the polariser ring as well and just used to use the 105mm landscape polariser on it
I use a Montane Direct Ascent bag which is great, Think it was £180 or there abouts. Packs down pretty small too and doesnt weigh much. You can always wear a down jacket inside it too and if you use a silk liner it'll boost the temperature inside. Keeps things light and as you're already likely...
I'd stay away from that one, the leg clamps are a nightmare and once they start to not grip properly they're a bitch to sort out. It's the 055XPROB or the MT055XPRO3 legs that you want as they have the redesigned clamps. The XPRO3 is the newer of the 2 and is better however the XPRO3 is good too!
Thanks ks for all yhe advice folks, think I'll give CAB a quick ring but ill probably just end up paying it and getting my camera back, I'm fed up of not having it now lol
Nah its not dust, I don't know what it is, it's far too uniform in size to be dust. I though maybe lubricant or something but AJJ quickly dismissed that thought. I have no idea what it is
Yes the marks were there before I sent it to them, hence the reason I sent it in lol. Here's a couple of screen shots where you can see the problem. The first is using the visualise spots tool in lightroom which shows up sensor dust. The seconds image is a zoomed in view of th sly in a sunset...
Apologies for the long post.
Not having a great time with my 6D at the minute.
I’s been up at A&J Johnstone in Glasgow for going on 3 weeks now.
I originally sent it to them as the sensor had loads of marks all over it, they cleaned the sensor and sent it back to me, charging me just shy...
That's a good point actually, I don't know.
Something I'd totally overlooked lol.
Maybe not so it won't have a zero shutter count after all haha.
Still it'll be sorted so ill be happy :)
Yeah, I've been on the phone with AJ Johnstone again and they're gonna replace the sensor under warranty. They say it's easier than taking it all apart and trying to to clean the filters over the sensor etc. Better for me as it means a zero shutter count again so like a new camera :)
