    Google displaying wrong image.

I was approached by an angry photographer claiming that I have done something to hack his page. When you search his name in google/images somewhere on the 2nd or 3rd page the profile pic of my facebook page appears and this links to his facebook page. I then tried to search my name and low and...

Hmm, time to dump flickr and finally build my own website?

My website is hosted by Weebly. Once I upload to my website, I can't download my images back at full resolution. The images get awfully compressed. I add galleries on my website for client viewing only. If they right click/save image they get a low res image. Flickr still wins in the...

Hmm, time to dump flickr and finally build my own website?

What other competitively priced, cloud based storage is there that lays out your images in a gallery format and allows you to orgainize into albums? I need to either pay for Pro or find a better alternative. I like Flickr for this and of course the ability to download at full resolution unlike...

Hmm, time to dump flickr and finally build my own website?

I use Flickr as a temporary backup. I have a free account which I dump images into as I'm editing. I store my edits in private albums as I'm working. I find it very convenient. Obviously I have other backup methods and my images are usually put in three different locations. I will be...

High contrast street, light & shadows.

I managed to get some better ones this past weekend.

High contrast street, light & shadows.

I love high contrast street photography where the photographer plays with light and shadows. It reminds me of stage lighting where the street becomes the stage and the sun the spotlight. I've uploaded a couple of my first attempts at this sort of thing but I know they can be impoved upon. I...

    Drummer with backlit flour cloud

I would use baby powder and not flour. It hangs in the air much better.

    Canon EOS 6D Mk2 Owner's Thread

I am in a conundrum. I currently own 2 x 70D's. I got my first just before the 7d mkii came out and after studying all the specs I believed it to be the best APSC camera Canon had to offer at the time. I grew to love it and still can't fault the 70D, hence I bought a second as a backup almost...

    Canon EOS 6D Mk2 Owner's Thread

I've seen the 5d mkiii priced better than the 6d mkii with some online retailers. Which would you go for?

    On Camera Flash

I was not referring to the poop up (pun intended) flash but flash in the hot shoe........sorry for being vague.

    On Camera Flash

I guess we need to see the photographers results. I'm not a personal friend of the bride she's my wifes work colleague but I'll start stalking her facebook account to see if anything pops up. :)

    On Camera Flash

Would you trust TTL for this method or would TTL throw out too much light and make the images too flashy?

    On Camera Flash

I arrived at around 11:00 a.m., so it was pretty much overhead sun for most of the reception. There was not much shade either. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing this guys technique but just trying to learn from it.
