Given the sigma 120-300 with 2x and 1.4x extenders will give the same range at the same aperture the image quality for 1/5 the price is going to have to be extraordinary!
You would have to have left handed lenses too. All the controls are on the left hand side of them, were a body with a left hand side grip developed it would be impossible/impractical to reach and use the controls.
Actually no, it was a lens I considered before ultimately purchasing the canon 100-400. The general consensus was that the canon was sharper and the samples I saw backed that up. I also heard that the canon was faster to AF. That said if those images are representative of the general performance...
