thank you guys for the reply, i have editing suite at uni, so i have access to da vinci and all the other softwares. i have recently joined a facebook group for this camera and people were using cctv lens on these cameras, I have not yet seen the results. i wish they make a new an improved...
i think the cheaper option would be to buy a second hand flatbed scanner, i own v700, it does the job for contact sheet plus you have more control over rather than giving it to someone else. And in future if you really want to blow it up, you can do drum scan for a price
That is a steal, normally in good condition the price tend to fetch £200+. I think if the total cost for repair is less than £100 then you might give it a go
motorsport photography needs a good AF camera with high burst rate or you have to be really good at focusing. Being said that not bad for first timer. P.S. that s1000 rr though, love to get hands on them.
I think the new macbook pro 13 are capable of running all the current adobe and video editing softwares. I saw on youtube these guys testing both photoshop and final cut pro x. But obviously if you want something with bit more performance you might want to look at 15" MBP with dedicated graphics...
if you are talking about black and white there are plenty of brands such as ilford, kodak, foma, etc. But I m also getting myself into it but in colour. So far i have only found Fuji. Ilford used to make it but not anymore apparently.
Hi people, I am planing to shoot a video during this summer. After bit of research I am leaning towards BMPCC for portability and ability to shoot raw. Apart from battery life, are there any significant cons i should know about this camera before buying it? Does anyone own it and actually played...
i think if you can push your budget little bit higher, you can get something like Sony RX100 mark 1/2/3 either depending on how much you can push your budget. if you don't have issues with prime lens then you can try Ricoh GR (it has APSC sensor).
