I purchased a cover for my Siggy 70-200 2.8 from rainydays2008...excellent quality materials and the owner, Tony, IIRC, is extremely helpful and very quick to despatch.

Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8....its what I have and is a fantastically sharp lens at all apertures. I know for landscape 2.8 is not relevant but for indoor shots, churches etc it makes a huge difference. Built like an aircraft carrier too....dropped mine when it was on my old D300....camera smashed but...
I have the Nikon 17-55 on a D7000 body and its a fantastic piece of glass indeed! Still have the 16-85VR that needs selling now. The 17-55 is sooo sharp it almost hurts, especially around F4...F2.8 is also very sharp too. I also have the Tokina 11-16 which is also a stellar piece of engineering...
Nice surprise today....needed two new rubber grips for the zoom and focus rings so called Nikon UK. Only £4.88 each....amazed they were so cheap! Even the non-Nikon ones on fleabay are more than this!
Anyone needs spares...call Nikon...cheaper than you might imagine! :nikon::banana:

Agree totally with the 18-70...it's a brilliant little lens...I've had two of them...last one got smashed with my D300!
I now have the replacement which is the 16-85 VR.. again a really good lens with a few mm extra each end and the vr. Perhaps another one to think about...they go for around...
