    Holme PierrePont

Paddle HPP a few times and its a nice easily accessable place if you wanna go take a few photos. The best spots for shooting are probably the muncher/plughole, the inlet gate and what was known as the looping pool (now cafe wave iirc). If you look around for course maps you should see the...

    Back to my stomping ground

Tis a shame thats the way society has gone. And the fact you simply can't afford to face down people like that these days as they have so little respect for people that you'll more than likely get your head kicked it (or stabbed). Tis a sad truth unfortunately.

I swear some of the responses in this thread are exactly what the sun thrives off of. By providing a mildly accurate reporting of affairs they can scare monger to the point where everyone thinks the government are out to get them and that terrorists are gonna kill us all using the interent...

    Shutters and DSLR's

I was gonna write a long spiel about mirrors/shutters being unnecessary but this thread has got me thinking. The main reason imo for shutters and mirrors still being used in SLRs is purely because of the fact it aint broken (so why fix it). Various companies have been using lcd viewfinders in...

    nikon 50mm f1.8D???

I popped into Jessops in Reading today after this exact same lens. The lass i spoke to said there's been a bit of trouble recently with Nikon and there's quite a bag log on orders. That and the 50mm F1.8 seems to be rather popular and is even harder to come by at the moment.

    Just saying hi.

Hi my names Neil, was pointed in this direction by a lad on another forum. I've been playing with cameras for a lil while now, mainly sports and cars using my dads Fuji bridge camera. Then i decided i wanted something that gave me a bit more control, so i got a D80 for my 21st and i'd rather...
