    [urgent] flash triggers - pocketwizards/skyports/etc

Haven't posted on here in a while, but was just about to do a shoot for a friends band, one of the members helped by carrying some of the equipment, and managed to slip over on ice, taking the equipment down with him. Anyway, I need 2-3 triggers asap (now) - would pay rental price to whoever...

Land rover freelander, and yes Andy, I live literally next to Sutton Park (Boldmere gate), and the forests are good, but just don't seem dense enough

Forest Locations around the midlands = capable of driving a car into the actual woods

Hi guys, desperately trying to find a location for a shoot with a client. Needs to be a forest location, prefably towering oak trees, where the car can be situated in the/amongst the trees. Ive asked Cannock Chase, as its almost ideal, but they want to charge £300-2000/day just for use of the...

    My-car-is-broken-and-ive-got-shoots-next-week fund

I don't post much on here now, but i thought people might be able to feel my pain a bit! I was doing a wedding when I realized my 70-200 was at home, so as I was travelling back to collect it, my car's drivers side ball joint? I think, gave way, leaving me travelling towards a lampost at...

ND Filters / Polarizing Filters - for a fisheye?

the ND filters more importantly, as i imagine the polarizing could be very difficult. but Is it possible to attach ND filters to a fisheye? as they dont have threads to attach to, but i imagine if i used those drop-in filter holders, using big enough filters to be able to cover the whole 180*...

Sigma EM-140 Ringflash - any good?

its wireless, You can't transfer TTL over it, but I don't think you can with commander mode on the d70/d70s/d80/d200 either. Just set the SB-800? to SU-4 mode in the options, and it'll be triggered when you set the on-camera flash off. Pretty sketchy but its definately a good thing to know

wedding tips / hints / guides

something as wide as 16/17/18mm, then maybe a 24-105/70, should cover all of it. you might want to concider a macro extention tube/macro lens for the ring close up too
