looking for some advice.
I bought the wife a used 60D on eBay to see if she will like photography.
The camera and lens arrived yesterday (yongnuo 50mm f1.8).
opened it up to test it out and when trying to take a photo the flash goes off but the error ‘Err 01 communications between the camera...

J.Stock I think it will be mainly landscape and action shots of the dogs to get her going, along with an all rounder until she finds her feet/interests.
I will go have a read up on the f2.8s as suggested. Appreciate your input.

So my Wife has decided she wants to get into Photography and I have just picked her up a second hand Canon 60D
It comes with a Backpack, flash YN560 Speedlite, Shutter realase remote control.

Thats the list il be hoping to splash out on this year. And a better tripod aswell. And a flash. and maybe some ND grad filters. Possibly another CF card. Bigger bag to accommodate the 100-400. Maybe a landscape lens.

Yeah, I thought it was well worth trying out. It did produce some nice effects, though I think the sepia gives it the old horror movie look! Which works really well in my opinion.
I also agree that the final edit in post 58 i definitely the strongest...
