I'll look at the 28-135 although ideally I'm looking for something a bit longer, also it has to be an EF lens as the Eos 10D wont take an EF-S as far as I'm aware which seems to be slightly limiting.

Hi folks, I now have an Eos 10D with a Canon 35-80 lens. Unfortunately the Sigma 28-200 F3.5/5.6 that I had for my Eos 50e which I was hoping would work on it will only work some of the time so I was wondering what the recommendations for a replacement lens would be.

Just for information, I emailed Sigma regarding re-chipping and the reply I got back would seem to indicate that they no longer offer the service; Not sure though if that's just for this lens or in general.

Thanks for the welcome folks. The Peak District is indeed a wonderful place for scenic and wildlife photos and the best part is I can walk to it from my front door :) Now I have an Eos10D on the way I'll be doing a lot of that I think as well as out and about on the 'bike :D

Thanks for the info folks, after looking around we managed to get an Eos10D with a Canon 35-80 lens for slightly under £180 which makes me a Very happy Moose indeed :woot::banana::woot:

Hi folks, just thought I'd say hello from Derbyshire. I'm looking at upgrading my digital camera but on a budget so once I've had a look round, there may well be a few questions fired off!! :)
