would you class dust as being not as described? All I was asked was if the lens was in full working order.
The cost of a service isn't possible. The lens was only £140 all in.
It's a 17-70. The optics were never described as "excellent". I simply answered a query that it "was in full working order".
I must admit I didn't notice any dust myself. It's been my walkabout lens for about a year and I've had no problem with it.
I've sold a lens elsewhere and the buyer is complaining there is some dust inside the front element.
Would you class this as a "faulty" lens? Most lenses over a few years seem to have this imho.
I've seen pics from Valencia on Flickr that seems to be from individuals. Seems ok to me and I doubt you'd be challenged. I reckon it's probably just the standard response. The only issue would be if you were selling them imho.
A friend suggested exporting all of the files to a new location and reimporting. Is there any way of doing this and keeping lightroom catalogue settings? i don;t want to have to reprocess everything.
It's all down to ease of use. I prefer a better photographic experience rather than pinsharp pictures. That said i feel I think about my photography a little more when using a prime.
I'm an ICT teacher and I recently had a go at running a photography club. Despite how much you know it's really difficult to try and describe that to a group of 15 year olds. I feel like I know my way around the theory really well but composition and the like is difficult to teach.
I've got a single catalogue in lightroom but have only recently used it to copy files to a new location on import.
My previous images are scattered all over various hard disks and I wondered if there was a way of telling lightroom to copy and organise all of it's current photos en masse...
I'm thinking about pulling the trigger one of these mainly for the side opening pouch. The space for the camera body looks very big and I worry my ungripped 40d is going to slide around, both horizontially and vertically.
Can anyone with the fastpack comment?
I'm running LR2 with a library of 12210 RAW pictures and find it hugely slow to use. Scrolling through the library to find a selection of pics is a chore as it chugs along.
Will the spec of my machine be to blame or can I somehow speed it up?
