    Camouflage Netting For Hides?

Why are the hides so expensive? And could you get away with normal tent and a wildlife pattern tarp? In Ireland there are not many fixed hides available at least where I am (interested in capturing birds of prey)

    Sigma stock on Amazon

Hi Mij, I bought this package last month from eBay. They had a 5% off offer at the time. Sometimes you will get lucky and get 10% upto a max of £75. The packages are usually £850 for lens and TC. (I saved 43 in the end) If you are willing to wait then you could put in your basket or set up an...

I am looking forward to the long weekend to get out and take it all in. Lots to learn. Having the reach means I am not frustrated at a spec in distance.

    Beginner Wildlife photography set up

Received this on Saturday. This is my first "new" buy after buying all my gear second hand. I am amazed at the quality. The weight was something I was not expecting (Can only imagine the 'Sport' version) as it dwarfs my D7100. Super sharp images and shots in focus handheld at 600mm makes me...

    UV Filters - 95mm

I am using a crop sensor DSLR -Nikon D7100 unsure what the effect will be at full focal lenght (apart from being very close the birds). I am looking forward to adding the teleconverter (1.4x) to see the effect!

    UV Filters - 95mm

I think from the suggestions above I will leave the filter for the moment and use the hood full time. I have a lenscover for the full lens on order. I can save toward the sigma and buy at some point in future. It was an expensive purchase and will probably cost me my marriage but hey ho...

    UV Filters - 95mm

Hi All, After purchasing the Sigma (150-600mm contemporary) and looking at accessories I am looking to purchase a UV filter to protect the lens. Sigma 95mm is approx £95 pounds. Is there a cheaper equivalent? I have used Amazon basics so far which have been fine. It is purely to protect the...

    Beginner Nikon AF-S 300mm f/4 ED

I was looking at the same - c version. 750 new. Some one also mentioned the 300mm f4 on as mother forum. Prices seem okay but if adding teleconverter then can bring in line with the variable zooms. My other half won't let me buy the sigma I will have to sneak it past her
