Hi all - off to Silverstone for BTCC on Sunday.
Unfortunately probably the longest lens I will have is my currently busted Tamrot 70-300 - manual focus only, due to defective AF motor.:cuckoo:
Very newbie to motorsport, and defective kit, so it will be challenging and I think I will have to do...
Just ordered some of these on Amazon for kids, but wondered if they might be useful for the creative types?

The plan is, as I have no kids football matches to attend, to go OUT - yes OUT of the confines of the house and garden and try to catch up, 4 weeks in one day.
it's a bit of a tall order and I am also of thinking of trying to combine themes maybe as a triptych...
Oh and thanks for the advice Sarah, the shirt merits having another attempt at doing something better. I will try to do what you say and not be negative. I am finding I am having to rush the job when i take these photos and it is about all I am doing with the camera at the moment. on a positive...

Dozy me shooting in jpg, yes its on macro, yes it's handheld, probably v soft - no I haven't ventrued outside back garden yet for this challenge :)
The buds are new - I think ladybird may be passed its sell by date.
Thanks for the tips Sarah, I'll have a go I am sooo novice with photoshop and it takes ages to do anything on my laptop that's why I usually end up with little or no processing.I usually try to do an exposure tweak at least and I think I did crop a bit but obviously not enough.

No I was on about shot for the "New" theme starting today.
I am trying to get a shot of new strings on my mandolin,but finding it difficult to get a good position on it and get as much as possible in focus.
Shame on me I know, but the birdhouse was auto.
