Where to get a couple of calendars printed for Christmas?

I used Optimal print to get a couple done a couple of weeks ago, probably not the cheapest but a couple of good A3 calendars from my photos for the year ahead which is what I wanted. HTH Trev.

    Choice of two lenses

I have owned the 150-500 and it was shocking. The image quality was terrible and adding a 1.4 TC made the images unusable. Of course I could have had a poor one. The camera I had it on was a D7000. I did consider the 150-600 as some of the reports from contacts who had one were good but I...

Thanks for all the replies gents. Ok. this is what i can see earlier on this afternoon it looked like the disk was running at 12-15mbs but was showing 100%. It is a 1tb hdd with it partitioned 'C' drive has 355gb free and 'D' drive has 385gb free so from that i would say that space isn't an...

I don't have any recovery disk for the machine, it came with Windows already installed and it auto updated to Windows 10. It's the cr4p that comes with windows that does my head in if I could get rid of that and have the latest windows with the interference from windows 97 I would be over the...

Thanks Graham. Tried looking at what is holding it up but struggled to find anything obvious. Run spyware/ malware programs and that always comes up nothing found. The carp comes from the bits that windows adds in that I don't need or want. Cortana, Edge, apps etc etc.

Hi all. I am looking to update my desktop. I use it for editing in Photoshop and Lightroom, emails and a bit of web wandering but that is about all. I am looking to update/upgrade my current 5 year old imedia i5 desktop, it is very slow when working with photo's and when checking task manager...

Anyone know anything about trail cameras?

We bought one from Lidl last year to try, at £80 what could go wrong? It is one of the best things we have got for the garden, it is out everynight through spring summer and autumn it will record stills and video with good detail and starts pretty much once it is triggered. We have it set for 5...

    Tide Tables

Try contacting a sea fishing tackle shop in the area that you are going they usually have booklets that have the tide times for a year they could possibly send a copy. The last booklet I bought a couple of years back was £1.50 and worth that in wasted fuel or replanning a trip. HTH Trev.

Camera to record wildlife during the night?

We bought one from Lidl in the spring. £80 with card and batteries and it has been spot on. 3 year guarantee and loads of picture and video options it gives us depending on the activity of the hedgehog about an hours viewing at breakfast each morning. Well worth the money. Trev.

    Opinions on Tamron 18-270

Hi Ken. I had a Tamron 18-270 and was really pleased with it to start with, but it soon developed and auto focus fault where it would hunt for focus and I ended up missing loads of shots. I would steer clear and get the 16-300 version which may well not have the same problem as the 18-270. HTH...
