Thanks Graham. Tried looking at what is holding it up but struggled to find anything obvious. Run spyware/ malware programs and that always comes up nothing found. The carp comes from the bits that windows adds in that I don't need or want. Cortana, Edge, apps etc etc.

Try contacting a sea fishing tackle shop in the area that you are going they usually have booklets that have the tide times for a year they could possibly send a copy. The last booklet I bought a couple of years back was £1.50 and worth that in wasted fuel or replanning a trip. HTH Trev.

Hi Ken. I had a Tamron 18-270 and was really pleased with it to start with, but it soon developed and auto focus fault where it would hunt for focus and I ended up missing loads of shots. I would steer clear and get the 16-300 version which may well not have the same problem as the 18-270. HTH...
