    Large-ish Prints in York?

Hey Guys, I need some a3 sized prints done in york, well 90cmx30cm would be ideal if anyone offers it, but a3 would do fine given the short notice. I really need them by about 11-12am tomorrow morning, do you guys know anywhere that would do that, decent quality would be good, but id rather...

Help me with 2nd hand choice (canon v nikon budget lens question!)

D3100? I know its more a "beginners" camera compared with the D200, but you'd be surprised with the quality a "beginner" camera can produce now.

Shoulder Bag For £40 or less?

As the title says, looking for a shoulder camera bag for £40 or less, not to big, but big enough for a 5d with a standard zoom, a NEX 5n, and maybe a couple of small primes. Nothing special, wont be used too much, just need something smaller then my Lowepro prorunner 350aw and want to see how...

    New Leica release

I think the M systems appeal, for me at least, is with the lenses rather then the bodies. I love the feel of a rangefinder, somehow i feel more involved in the process with one. But Leica is asking stupid money for these camera's now, i bet a fair amount of them never take a single shot...

    New Leica release

Yes i get that a "cleaner" sensor would produce "cleaner" images, but i doubt there would be a much of a noticeable difference over the standard cameras and given thats it has limitations the standard body doesnt have (only shooting in b&w) is it really worth the additional outlay for an image...

    New Leica release

So, am i reading this right? It only shoots in Black and White? Why would someone choose this over the M9 or the M9P?

Best Canon 'walkabout' lens between £500-£600

I would say it depends on weather you plan on going full frame in the near future (if at all). If so the 24-105 L is just about perfect for that, if not then the 17-55 2.8 is best option imo, although ive only briefly used one but ive heard great things.

    Is this lens a bargain?

Given you have a 18-55 and a 50 1.8, i would say go for it, will give you that extra reach you need sometimes and i think you will be impressed with the results that can be had from such a lens. Also if you buy new from amazon, and dont get along with it, return it :)

Lowepro Classified 250 AW Shoulder Bag - £50 at Amazon

Reckon this could fit a 5DII with a 24-70 and a NEX 5N a small lens (usually old prime glass) and maybe a 50mm 1.4? Love the way the smaller 200 model is more expensive then the 250 too :) Amazon and there pricing

    which lens

18-55 is a general purpose 'kit lens' - for landscapes and 'loose' portraits, and just general purpose. 70-300 is a telephoto lens - for 'tight' portraits and situations where you are far away from your subject, wildlife for instance :)

Canon 75-300 IS USM focus wear

Maybe they just had higher expectations, in terms on focus speed. If you know them or live near them, have a look at it, make sure it's not developed a fault.
