The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

UK price seems to be coming out at £699, which is still about double what I would have expected. As an X100VI owner I won't be taking the plunge, but, if it was around £300-350 I may have taken a punt. Shame.

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

After picking up an X100VI in the classifieds here last week, I finally got to put it to use at the weekend: Avon by Mike Thomas, on Flickr Hello Gorgeous by Mike Thomas, on Flickr Statues by Mike Thomas, on Flickr

If you're using Windows, then the built in Windows Defender is more than good enough for the vast majority of users.

    Canon EOS R Series Cameras

Looking at the hotshoes themselves, they look to have similar dimensions... Perhaps I'll have a crafty test when they R1 and R5II make it to stores

Does anyone happen to know if the ER-SC1 or ER-SC3 fit the R5?

    Film making, where to begin?

Thank you for the tips, I already have dead cats for the H1n and the Rode mic, but I won't be buying a camcorder :ROFLMAO: I imagine the majority of the footage will come from the Insta360s as it'll mostly be driving, and the panning function is offered in post-production which looks incredibly...

    Film making, where to begin?

Afternoon all, I've been a hobbyist photographer for ages and have had a video itch for a long portion of that. An upcoming road trip to Scotland makes me think that now is the time to scratch it. I've got a Canon R5, with various lenses (mostly EF), and a couple of Insta360 One RSs as well as...

Point and Shoot Cameras are Basically Dead

That would be particularly awkward to hold up to your head, wouldn't it?

    Canon EOS R Series Cameras

I was looking to replace my 24-70 and 70-200 with their RF equivalents, I've since noticed that the RF 24-70 is heavier, so I'll keep the EF for the time being I think.

Why does aperture change my light?

Hi Keith, as you can see on the diagram below, they all have an impact on the exposure. If you're shooting in manual then you'll need to slow the shutter down as you narrow the aperture to get the same exposure as you would with a wider aperture.

Happy to chat when the guilt sets in and you feel you need to offload it ;)

One of the pressing points for me, as an R5 owner, is where can I get one of those Canon hot shoe covers :ROFLMAO:

I notice the announcement of RF-S lenses, too. Hopefully there are more lenses on the way!
