    Phone apps

So, as i progress more in to the landscape photography world, i have been thinking of things that i would need and what would be helpful to have with me. Now, we all carry phones of the smart variety around with us, which got me thinking. What apps are about and what am i missing. First to...

How wide can you go... canon users.

Yeah, on a crop, 12mm is the same as 19.2 on full frame... which still isn't as wide as my 17mm. Lol I want crazy views which is what you will get on a full frame! Haha! Think i have found my next purchase then :-)

Hahaha! Yeah, the joys of fisheye. To be honest, as long as its "sharp enough", I'll be happy. If i wanted pin sharp id invest in the Canon wides but i have the 17-40 for my print work. :-)

Yeah, the ART is crazy, but the older one is more in the fun lens range :-)

Just looked at this, the older version is defo in the price range I'm thinking for a fun lens. Just to do some weird stuff that wouldn't be as fishy as my fisheye lens :-)

So, i like fun lenses. I have an awesome 17-40L that is pin sharp and use that for my landscape for on a 5Ds. However, as i say, i like fun lenses. I have a Fisheye and I have a macro... but i wondered what ultra wides can you get for canon full frame. I thought there might be a Tokina...

    The world of Cokin Filters...

So. I am invested nicely in to the wonderful world of Cokin filters. However, they all seem to have lovely numbers for their names such as the 121, 121m and 121L... Is there a list anywhere of what these all stand for?

    What Tripod?

Sorry mate, totally missed the humour. My bad :-) Thanks for the option of the Manfrotto. I think it's going to be a case of biting the bullet and going for one of them rather than trying to find a nifty bargain. Stick with a brand i know and trust :-)

    What Tripod?

I don't mean blown their budget. More like they bought something cheap and it turns out amazing. I don't really have a set budget, more a case of seeing what is around and what to aim for. Amazon is loaded with cheaper Carbon Fibre tripods but are they worth spending anything on... has...

    What Tripod?

So, as i journey further in to the world of landscapes, i find my tripod is too heavy for trekking around with. I bought it on here my first time round here and it's a Manfrotto metal frame (can't remember the model number) but weights over 2kg... add that to the Manfrotto pistol grip head it's...

Hello - new but not new

Afternoon all. New here... technically. I was once a member here many moons ago but thought i would come back and join the party. Used to do a lot of model work, mainly glamour stuff, but have since moved more in to landscapes but still do work with models, doing a lot of bodyscapes etc...
