Hi all
I've made a short video going through a beauty shoot and explaining why we use dishes and some pictures from the shoot. Please have a look.
Cheers

Hi Gaz
Thanks very much :) I tend to stick to auto white balance most of the time as I shoot in RAW but I'll be releasing a video on Sunday that shows how you can use Tungsten and gels for a great effect.
Thanks for all your comments :)
Yes Gary, I always use a light meter, I find it a quick and easy way of getting the exposure I want, saves guess work or wasting time shooting and adjusting.
I always use flash in manual mode, some use ttl but I only use that with on camera flash.
Hi all,
I've made another video all about using gels with off camera flash for great effects.
Please have a look here
Here's one of the pics created in the video :0)
I'm guessing it's down to sponsorship when the big guns change. Free gear, payment etc. If someone paid me and gave me free gear I'd use their stuff, makes sense.
Scott Kelby did an interesting video, I'm guessing there may have been other reasons he didn't mention.
Hi all
I'm new to the forum, I'm a professional photographer from Guernsey in the Channel Islands shooting weddings/portraits and offering a wide range of training courses.
Cheers, I look forward to having a good chat on the forums :)
