What macro equipment have you got?

Considering the razor thin DoF with full frame, i'd be reluctant to go with a crop ! although, i've just ordered a rail, so maybe it doesn't really matter :)

What macro equipment have you got?

i did spot that after my searching but i am also after, as you've noticed, a bit more on equipment used to achieve shots. How do people protect their lenses when doing falling water droplet shots? skylight filter?

    MACBOOK PRO

Technically, all the posters are correct, there's better hardware fir cheaper. IMO, in all the years I've been using laptops, the MBP is head and shoulders the better work station to spend a few hours at. Especially for photography. I guess this will be more about working with osx than any...

How can I achieve this style?

shoot f/2.8 or wider for the shallow depth of field. there's a lot of dodge processing on the eyes too - almost unnaturally so.

    Taking your camera abroad

we travel at least 3 times a year with our camera gear. 2 hand luggage bags, each about 15kg :D on the way out, we leave the hand luggage in the car and take a hand bag to check in. After check in we go and fetch our hand luggage. security don't care about weight. on the way back, at check...
