    Bronica Medium Format Owners Thread

Thanks guys for your thoughts, I'm not too worried about distortion, i guess we.i was more interested in how the lens compare in sharpness. But as I'm mainly planning to shoot landscapes on a tripod and not people. The shallow depth of field may not be a big issue for me either. So am I...

    Bronica Medium Format Owners Thread

HI Guys, I'm looking to buy a Bronica lens for my ETRSI for landscape shooting and trying to decide between the 50 and 40mm. Does anyone have any thoughts views and which is best?

    photographing cyclists at night

I agree, and yes the shoot is in Blackpool along the seafront, with the aim of catching the illuminations and cyclist, so there is some ambient light there already. When I tried before my biggest issue was the slow refresh of the speedlite and missing focus.

    photographing cyclists at night

I am a part time sports and events photography here in the UK, I mostly shoot charity sporting events such as cycling and running. I have been asked to do a photoshoot of cycling at night, but I'm a little unsure as the best way to achieve good results. I have used Speedlights and HSS in dark...

    All Day Rucksack F-stop??

Thanks I already have a Temba insert, which is great for carrying gear around, but I just don't find it very easy to quickly access the gear when I'm out and working. I wish that Temba did a more shallow insert like the F-stop ICU's as I find stacking stuff in their inserts doesn't make for...

    PocketWizard on fuji XT-2

Hi Guys, I'm looking to buy a couple of pocket wizards to remote trigger my Canon 5D3. But I'm struggling to find the answer to my question. My second camera is fuji XT-2, so I would like to use it to remotely trigger the Canon when I press the shutter release on the Fuji XT-2 But I cannot...

Using Flash in High contrast Lighting

Thanks Holty, I tried both of those options at the weekend, with limited success, it's party because cyclists don't always cycle in the exact same place and my poor timing taking the photos. I'm always using a longish lens so I need to get the flash closer, or a more powerful flash, I think...

Using Flash in High contrast Lighting

Yes I saw those, they look great, but I was wondering if I could use something like a Magbeam https://magnetmod.com/shop/magbeam-kit/ as it would allow me to be more mobile, if used with the speedlite on camera, what do you reckon?

Using Flash in High contrast Lighting

Hi Mike, so you reckon something like the godox AD600 would work?

Using Flash in High contrast Lighting

Hi Guys, I would appreciate some input from other experienced photographers. I do quite a lot of event photography. At the weekend I was taking photos of cyclists on an event during the middle of the day in full sun. In these situations I often struggle to get a decent exposure on people's...
