There is a big step up in cost between the A3 and A2 units, but this is offset by the lower running costs and they tend to be built to do a lot more work. The Canon IPF5100 is a very good A2 unit, plus it gives you the flexibility of the Roll feeder as well. Annoyingly they haven't updated it...
