In the end inspiration quite randomly struck me and I have decided to go with light and shadow. I'll study photographers who have used strong lighting, photographing still life subjects. Then eventually combining this with moody portraits.

If you search colour popping on the internet it comes up with a lot of results but I may get more from selective colouring, I'll try that thanks.
I am doing AS level photography and I need another photographer to add to my critical studies. So does anybody know of any photographers that use a colour popping style? (Where the image is in black and white with one or more objects in colour.)

Is there much difference between the older version and newer version of Canons kit lens?
Does the IS make a big difference and is there any improvement on optics?

There's a refurb from canon uk with less than a day left at about £380 which seems a decent price.
Thinking about a kit lens, nifty 50 and 55-250 is. Not sure yet though.
