Personally I always expose for the sunset after I have set the strobes ( I normally use a couple) and know what their out put then is. As stated before you need to work quickly and compensate for the changing light conditions and the sun sinks. For example.
EDIT I ought to say this is...
Cheers Mark
Its just that in the past I have found the plus II cumbersome when on camera this seems like an easy solution, and as you have said works fine. I seldom use eTTL in anycase so not much of a sacrific

Have tried Pure Storm a couple of times and thye have not got back to me at all, all I can assume is that they dont feel my images are good enough, good job my clients dont think the same!
If its an older model you can have it sent back to MS and fixed for nothing, contact the support. Mine took about 5 days to be fixed and it went to Germany
Glad to hear its not just me having the problem tried twice now sent loads of emails no answer at all I have even asked if I have been refused why etc still nothing.
I'm also on Net-Model, Model Mayhem and tfpmodels all have proven usefull I'm not loosing any sleep over Pure Storm
I have a 3n1 30 and love it. It holds a ton load of stuff to give you an idea mine normally has in it the following:

Gripped 40D
Sigma 12-24
Sigma 24-70
Sigma 70-200
2 x 580 EX II's
Full set of wireless triggers
Enough spare batteries for everything
Various cables and some...
I have a Kata 3N1 - 30 its brilliant
sling type bag
full back pack with support belt for those longer treks
all the straps tuck away nicely for airports etc it even has a loop where you can attach a trolly of handle of a flight bag.
The only problem I have is its too heavy sometimes...
OK Here we go
I spend nearly all my time taking portraits in peoples homes and not in a nice large studio so this is the technique I use when theres limited space.
The golden thing to remember at all times is your aperture as anything that you illuminate with your strobes will be lit...
I'm also a fan of Lomography. its possible to mimic it in digital as well. I have a small blog about it on my site:
