Thank you for your reply canon bob. I dont want to jump in too deep with buying more expensive lenses just yet. Does anyone want this lens? Never even used! Having quite a bit of fun just learning the ropes with my camera and all its settings as it is!! :) Cheers Matt

Ok. What lens is recommended to go with the ex-converter? pardon my ignorance but is the Standard Canon EF-S 18-55mm a wide angle lens?

maddog.mark like the contrast in colours of the brown mushrooms on the white/grey tree bark. sawman like the mushroom but imo could of added something in from the background perhaps, ie taking the pic lying on the ground maybe? Here's mine:

Just got myself a 400D and learning the ropes. Thought i'd be smart and just ignore the manual and take some shots lol... Hoping to learn something and hopefully give back :) Matt
