Picked up the last one from Leicester Beaumont Leys. Looks an excellent reminder on key topics and a good introduction to new ones.

I cannot get MyShutterCount to work for any image from my 550D, which is a bit irritating.

I think their franchised nature embeds itself in the owner. If he looks after his stuff, the store follows suit. Some of the materials accepted are interesting in the Manchester area. Some of the DVD sets smell of wee..

You'd get a decent £80-£100 for the 55-250 lens alone if in good condition/boxed etc. Good deal I think.

I find that Practical Photography has some good projects monthly. I'm still doing ones from the May issue.

Practical Photography and Digital SLR Photography are my favourites.

Is the 18-135mm as good as people suggest it is, or am I better investing in a smaller f2.8 lens?
